Dungeon Depths is a rouge-like, RPG, souls-like maybe future MMO game. T aking big inspiration from Dark Souls, Runescape, Hypixels Skyblock, Metin 2 and Enter The Gungeon. The world of Dungeon Depths is vast having many biomes each with their own dungeon. The game is currently split into 2 main parts.
The town is a safe place for the player. Here the player can shop for items, accept quests, upgrade their gear and many other things. The town also has the entrance to the main part of the game which is the dungeons.
Dungeons also have multiple floors from 3 to 5 depending on the dungeons. Each dungeon floor is procedurally generated everytime you enter it, creating a fun and replayable game. Each floor also has its own boss at the end. The floors get more and more difficult the more you progress and so do the dungeons. After finishing a floor the player is graded on how well they did ranging from S+ to F.
Dungeon Depths first known as "Dungeoneer" started as a high school graduation project around 2023. The First iteration looked very different visually, gameplay wise and back-end too. As the game evolved I completely reworked lots of the systems for example the enemies, dungeon generation and data saving. But I also began planning more things like gameplay features, new biomes but also new parts of the game like multiplayer and player worlds.
Dungeon Depths is a very low spec game and will be able to be played on most computer devices.
